How to apply for membership

Conwy Comrades ClubMembership Payment Guide

We’re delighted that you want to join or renew your membership at Conwy Comrades Club.
Membership fees for this year are:

  • New Members: £20

  • Renewals: £20

  • OAPs & Veterans: £15

Your subscription helps us keep the Club running for all members and the wider community.


Step 1 – Complete a Membership Form

  • Download the application form from our website or request a copy by email.

  • Fill it in with your details.

  • Email the completed form to: secretary@conwycomrades.co.uk
    (Paper copies will also be available in the Club for anyone who prefers to fill it in by hand.)


Step 2 – Choose How to Pay

Option A – Pay in Person at the Club

  • Although the Club is currently closed, we will announce set times when members can pop in.

  • At these times you’ll be able to:

    • Pay in cash at the bar/office.

    • Complete a paper membership form if you haven’t already.

Details of these times will be shared on our noticeboard, website, and Facebook page.


Option B – Pay by Bank Transfer

  • You can transfer your membership fee directly into the Club’s bank account.

  • It is very important that you enter your full name as the payment reference.

  • If you are renewing, please also include your previous membership number.

  • This ensures we can correctly match your payment with your application form.

Bank details:

  • Account Name: Conwy Comrades Club

  • Sort Code: [insert sort code]

  • Account Number: [insert account number]

(These details will also be confirmed in your welcome email from the Secretary.)


Step 3 – Confirmation

  • Once your payment has been received and your form processed, you’ll be added to the Membership Register.

  • The Secretary will send you confirmation of your membership.


Privacy Notice

Conwy Comrades Club takes your privacy seriously. We collect and store your personal details only to manage your membership and Club business. Your data is kept securely and never shared with third parties except where required by law.

Membership records are deleted within 12 months of leaving (financial records are kept 7 years for legal purposes). You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data.
